Barney Vallely's Irish Pub is located in the Altstadt (old town), right in the heart of Cologne. Less than 5 minutes walk from both the river Rhine and Cologne's world famous cathedral - the Dom. Next to the Dom is Cologne's central train station, Köln Hauptbahnhof, from here regular train and bus connections operate between Cologne and several major airports, including Cologne/Bonn airport, Düsseldorf airport and Frankfurt (Hahn) airport. Finding Us - from Cologne central station

Exiting Cologne's central train station and walking to the south side of the Dom will bring you to Roncalliplatz (Roncalli square), between the Dom hotel and the Römisch-Germanisches Museum. Continuing southwards you will reach a street called 'Unter Goldschmied'. Follow this street for less than a minute and the first turn on the left hand side is the 'Kleine Budengasse'. After walking down a gentle slope you will see Barney Vallely's on your left.

Finding Us - from Heumarkt tram station (U-Bahn)

Walk from the tram stop on to Heumarkt, one of Cologne's famous old square's. Continue northwards through Heumarkt to the Alter Markt, via the street, 'Unter Käster'. The north-west corner of the Alter Markt meets 'Kleine Budengasse', the street on which Barney Vallely's is located. Walk 20 meters up Kleine Budengasse's gentle slope and you can't miss Barney Vallely's Irish Pub on your right.

Finding Us - from Appellhofplatz tram station (U-Bahn)

Leaving Appellhofplatz underground station at the 'Breite strasse' exit and following 'Breite strasse' eastwards, (past McDonalds), and towards the busy road 'Tunis strasse'. Cross 'Tunis strasse' and continue eastwards for 5 minutes along 'Minoriten strasse' and 'Grosse Budengasse'. No need to make any turns because you will have now reached 'Kleine Budengasse'. After walking down a gentle slope you will see Barney Vallely's on your left.

Cologne/Bonn Airport

The S-Bahn (local train) operates 7 days-a-week and shuttles several times an hour between Cologne/Bonn airport and Cologne central train station (Köln Hauptbahnhof). The relevant train is called the S-13 and it takes approx. 10 minutes to reach Cologne central station.

Düsseldorf Airport

Düsseldorf International has it's own S-Bahn station as well as a regional train station. From Düsseldorf airport's regional train station 2 'Regional Express (RE)' trains travel per hour direct to Cologne central train station. The journey takes approx. 30 minutes.

Frankfurt (Hahn) Airport

A regular bus service operates 7 days-a-week between Frankfurt (Hahn) airport and Cologne's central train station. The journey takes approx. 2 hours.
